JAIVIC Power Capacitors are designed, manufactured and tested To ensure performance conforming to is: 2834 - 1986 (as amended up to date). We also undertake manufacture of Power Capacitors conforming to other standards against special orders of customers.

The standard production is for 415 V & 440 V, 3 phase (internally delta connected) 5o Hz in ratings of 1,2,3,4,5,6,6,7.5,8,9,10,12.5,15,20,25 & 30 kVar.

JAIVIC Power Capacitor Banks are also available of other or higher kVar ratings upto 200 kVar by using suitable combinations of our standard units.

1. Robust construction. Hermetically sealed. Compact in size.
2. Best quality dielectric having low loss factor used.
3. Containers are made with CRCA sheets and are electroplated to prevent rusting.
4. Sturdy ceramic insulators are used for trouble-free field operations. Metal studs are fitted to the insulators to ensure good connections.
5. Impregnation with special capacitor oil under high vacuum.
6. Low loss Discharge Resistance are externally fitted to reduce the residual voltage to 50 V or less within one minute after the capacitor is disconnected from the source of supply.
7. Attractive and durable painting.
8. Every capacitor is tested for 6 to 8 hours at 85.C+(-)5.C for oil leakage.
9. Capacitor losses low. Hence very high efficiency.
